The Challenge
IMPACT Magazine is a publication for IDEA students, families, and supporters. The magazine has a goal of recruiting more students to the organization through story telling and one of the challenges of this goal was the knowledge of extracurricular activities. This issue was designed to showcase and highlight extracurriculars in a unique and engaging way.

My Role
As art director and lead designer on IMPACT Magazine, I gave creative direction for all photography and designed all spreads with the approach of a sports magazine. The goal was to show IDEA Public Schools in a new way that would engage families interested in sports and extracurricular activities. Since IDEA didn't have traditional sports offerings, highlighting the students as "stars" and in "hero" settings helped communicate that IDEA offered more than just top quality education.
