The Pebble is designed in response to the dramatic shift in the contemporary work lifestyle.
Pebble aims to deliver a private place for co-workers in an open plan or activity based office environment, who spend most of their day taking calls as well as help improve passive acoustic performance and productivity. Pebble is a phone booth with a simple, elegant design whose important characteristics are acoustics and usability. The button is the design feature that adds familiarity and playfulness and the partially exposed area acts as an indicator when in use. The Pebble feels spacious inside because of its work surface is placed around the corner, leaving ample space behind the user’s back. Internally routed cable power and data built into the work surface. The colours of Pebble’s exterior and interior walls and door and button can be personalised to suit the customer’s premise.
The furniture uses timber for the legs, a beech table surface, industrial felt for the walls and door.
