Six years ago KEXP DJ John Richards started a movement that is fast on its way to becoming an global holiday (as it should have been immediately). February 7th is International Clash Day, the only day that matters!
Fast forward to 2018 where I was waking up excitedly at 6 a.m. for the holiday, my radio dial preset to 90.3 and instantly there was a blast of inspiration when I heard the music of The Clash crackling across the airwaves in the early pre-morning dark. I decided, as I cranked the volume, to procrastinate my current projects a bit and whip up a little holiday sketch to celebrate the day while the sun finally got around to rising.
