Many office buildings, museums, shophouses with cafes, pubs, and restaurants are situated along the Singapore River. 

The area is scenic and there's much to appreciate. Wander along the banks of the river with a camera to capture the beauty of the area and the colonial architecture of some of the buildings and bridges there, or sit along the banks or from a pub with an ice-cold beer and watch the boat sail pass. You can also get on one of the boats for a tour along the river too!

If you prefer to be indoors, you can visit the nearby Asian Civilisation Museum, or the National Gallery (which was the formal Supreme Court).
