TEARS FOR FEARS fanart
It took me a while to put this together, but it was worth it (at least for me!). I just finished some Zbrush classes and had to think of my own final project. I was listening some music at the time and my fave playlist of TEARS FOR FEARS came along!! They are truly an inspiration for me and their music is timeless. So I decided to make this homage and, at the same time, practice all that i've learned with Zbrush and Blender. I think it took 3 weeks to get it done. It was inspired on the cover art of THE SEEDS OF LOVE album (which i adore, by the way) especially the metal sun in it!!
First of all, I did a few sketches to set up some identity to the characters!
I mean, Roland and Curt are real, but I was trying a truly cartoony vibe to it.
Later, the characters (including the Sun ;-) ) were modelled in Zbrush.
Then I did the scene composition in Blender and also textured it.
And here is the final version! ;-)
