NFL Redesign by Logan Max

This is a personal side-project completed during my sophomore year in college. It was done for the purpose of improving my vector graphic skills, and to showcase my passion for branding, and the sportswear industry. I've always had an obsession for the NFL aesthetic, and my designs are fairly conservative as far as uniforms are concerned - but the aim of this project was improving the integrity of the team's brand. This meant applying everything I knew about the culture & history surrounding each franchise, their home city, & their fan-base - and applying it to the visual appearance of all 32 teams - including home, away & alternate uniforms - all logos, & typefaces.

- Keep in mind this project was completed in 2015 -
(before "color rush" uniforms were born, & before the Rams or Chargers moved to Los Angeles)
New Ravens' logo does not feature any letters, and so retains lateral symmetry. Baltimore flag crest used as primary uniform patch.
Uniform's black-to-purple gradient mimics color-reflective properties of actual Raven feathers. logo geometry derived from Raven photo.
My Panthers' logo (center) is the result of breeding the old panthers' logo (left) with their current logo - which I call the "derpy panter." (right)
BRAND BREEDING: new logo design appears to be the offspring of Jacksonville's 90's look and current brand.
New Raiders' logo re-designed in the likeness of franchise icon & football legend Al Davis.
San Francisco's new logo features "SF" and "49" on opposing sides, centered around the new "triple-pickaxe" logo.
Photoshop renderings of Titans' new home, away, and alternate uniforms.
