This design aims at eliminating the conventional product design timeline, where the designer must go through a hectic period of patenting, manufacturing, shipping and marketing until the product arrives to its customer. Instead, the tres-lamp aims to bypass the system by spreading the idea through social media, and generate revenue through file sharing.

The tres-lamp can be assembled in minutes, and manufactured in a matter of hours using a 3d printer and off the shelf products using intelligent design which eliminates the use of excessive material in the 3d printing progress by eliminating the use of supports, thus keeping the net cost low.
