A Wonderful Journey

"A WONDERFUL JOURNEY"
Aurélia Faudot
"When I arrived for the first time in the Unite States, and more particularly on the West Coast, I began what I call my "Wonderful Journey".
As I was discovering new lands and meeting new people, I started understanding more about myself.
These pictures relate about my journey in the States, but more generally about the journey of life.

How you learn about yourself, how you start understanding that happiness is not about how many material possessions you own, but how many sunrises you've admired.
Little by little, travel after travel, you start needing less and less help to "fly", and finally ends up needing nothing but yourself to live a full and meaningful life."

"These balloons symbolize all those material things that help you emerge, keep your head above water. Those things that help you grow but also flee.

We are firmly attached to those, but they only are what they are : pushed by the wind they can suddenly deviate or fly away.

They hereby invite to ask ourselves about their presence, but above all about their potential absence, may it be purposeful or imposed."
