The Telus World of Science is a science centre located in Edmonton, Alberta.
The objective of this project was to research and design a poster campaign that could convince parents with young children to purchase family memberships.
The Margaret Zeidler Star Theatre referenced in my poster is one attraction which features a full dome, immersive video experience.
Using a simile to emphasize how immersive the theatre experience
can be (especially for young children), I wanted to suggest to parents that taking their children to the Star Theatre would be like taking their children to the moon itself.
My spacesuit clad silhouettes seek to convey the same idea of a completely immersive environment, while the row of chairs in the bottom right ground the idea of the theatre setting where it all begins.
