Process
The fonts were selected to evoke a classic horror movie feel without seeming too kitschy or dated.
The client decided on composition 1, and made a few requests and changes until we reached this point.
Tracing the rough composition using a lightbox to create the final linework.
Final
And done! Two posters will be printed-- the first has a blank box for venues to add their own information, and the second advertises the kickoff show.
A blank box is provided per client request so that bars and venues can add their own information later.
This version is specifically for the kickoff show on 11/29, and will be printed in smaller numbers than the other poster.
