It wasn't a struggle to come up with ideas for Halloween posters, but it was a struggle to choose which ones to print! Originally, I had sketched 16 posters, but with only about a month to finalize, prep, and print the designs–I settled on four.
The Final Posters
Each poster was designed with custom type, hand-lettered on an iPad pro with the apple pencil. The Trick or Treat and Happy Haunting posters were challenging and really fun to letter.

Drawing on the iPad makes everything so easy to edit and refine.
The Printing Process
Besides a few one-color posters, I didn't have very much experience screen-printing. I spent about a year accumulating equipment and materials, taking online classes, and conducting extensive google searching to learn how to screen-print; and I found I absolutely love it.
