#Selfie is about narcissism, exactly the narcissism
present in social networks with the overexposure
of the image of the users themselves.
The project is based on the selfie phenomenon conducting a documentary study on the sociological and psychological
aspects related to the customs of a new society pf individualistic character, hedonistic and of immediate needs.
The purpose of this project is not only to report on the pathological aspects of those attitudes but also to claim a
responsible use of social networks to raise awareness and change these behaviors.
It provides as a solution the creation of an information and advocacy organization present in digital web support, mobile
application and social networks. From the different digital platforms the campaign is issued. It also creates an interaction
between registered users who share their queries and own experiences in community.
It makes protagonists the users of the campaign giving them the opportunity to create their own posters and slogans.
It's also possible to download freely all the contents of the campaign for physical reproduction by users or interested entities.
The project's point of view is sarcastic and it parodies by means of a campaign the overexposure of the own image.
The intention is to highlight the need for user acceptance and satisfaction of narcissistic behavior.
