GEN Z: Idents
The brief requested us to produce a TV network brand called
"Gen Z". "Gen Z" is a new youth focused channel displaying content such as fashion, music, sports, politics, sex, and food.
My design rationale was to produce an identity focused onthe generation's mindset. Generation Z are known for being socially aware and
open minded. I believed that the colours of "Gen Z" idenity should portray primarily blue and pink. This is due to the stereotype that blue is for boys and pink is for girls. The concept of "Gen Z" was any characters assigned colour didnt follow the stereotype, presenting to the viewer that you can present yourself how you choose. An additional factor of the idents was the implementation of digital tech, as that was a prominent aspect
of generation Z.
