For this project, I had to choose a typeface by Adrian Frutiger and design a type specimen book using the type as a form of art. I chose to use Univers Next because of how vast and varied the typeface family is and it offered me a lot of options for designing. In this book, I demonstrated the anatomy and different styles of Univers Next, while giving information about Adrian Frutiger.

In my design, I chose to incorporate elements of Swiss design like the bright color, blocky layout, and minimalistic artwork.  Univers Next was created in the 1950's and was used in airport signs. Thus my inspiration came from a 1950's airplane safety manual and color pallet that was based off of 1950's wallpaper.
