Beautifully written, in this book Deepa has captured the journey of 35 individuals that have been trained and revived under the 'Initiatives of Change' centre program. They were selected and mentors from TATA Steels CSR wing and are now thriving under the same circumstances and environment they came from and belong to.
The villages falling under the purview of the TATA Steel plant in the tristate area of Chattisgarh, Jamshedpur and Orissa have been the operating grounds of this unique and ahead of its time CSR undertaking, unlike any other that goes to the root of the issues of the suffering youth and helps them develop their personality and confidence.
The designing in minimal, with watercolour illustrations in greys giving it a life and lightness just like the newly found identities of the 35 protagonists ... Minimal editing has been done to the photographs that have an earthen beauty and warmth that has come from Navneet experiencing the interiors and villages for the first time .. beautifully capturing the sunlight in the simplest of her photos.
The back cover photo editing has been done by Puja using one of the youngest hero's of the book and using one of her unique photographs and blending it into the environment of the road, telling you to be prepared for a journey of through the minds of this enlightened group.
