Winner of AIGA Flux 2017 Award in Identity

Halcon Optics is a fictional company that sells high-end optical equipment such as binoculars, rifle scopes, binocular straps, lense cleaner and more.  This project included branding the company and creating packaging for it's products.  As most of these products would be previewed in a showroom, the packaging focuses on the user experience of unpacking their purchase rather than selling the item on a shelf.

Halcon Optics binoculars come in a box featuring the topographic design and logo.  Inside the box is a photo to inspire and a diagram that highlights the product features. The box for binocular straps also features the topography and logo, and allows the rolled strap to be the focus when the box is opened.  Rifle scopes and lense cleaners come in high quality tubes. 

All of the packaging features a similar labeling system which includes a vector drawing of the object and any information necessary to identify the product.
