Centers For The Arts & Crafts

This is an ad that I'm extremely proud of. Why?

Not because it was amazingly done, or that I spent precious hours completing the small details of the images.

What made this ad important was the meaning I had behind it. When I first started working in Valley magazine, I was a freshman and I didn't really know what to do. Much less, how to do it all.

So I did what anyone should do, and experimented. I can say that I wasn't always pretty, but I like to think that I can a long way. This ad is a redemption ad. What I mean by this is that I had worked with this client before and did a not-so-spectacular-ad for them. It was fine, but I wasn't satisfied with it.

So when I got assigned to do this client again, it was a chance for me to really redeem myself. I wanted to prove to myself that I could do better and that I would do better.

So here's the result. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I couldn't find the old version that I did before.

This was an print ad that was completed for the Fall 2012 release of Valley magazine.

This year, Valley members are especially proud of all the hard work and effort that went into making this magazine. There were a lot of blood, sweat and tears, but we pulled through and provided our readers a more appealing magazine.

Here's a picture of our wonderful cover page!
