An experimental, self-initiated fashion illustration project that offers an alternative view of the traditional fashion photography. By cutting the models and placing them onto the bright backgrounds along with bright colored brushstrokes I was able to create classic, yet very contemporary looking fashion imagery. The project was featured on hundreds of art and design blogs on the web. Online fashion and style magazine Trendland named it one of the 100 best art and design projects of 2012. In 2014 'Strokes' was featured in "Making a Splash: Graphics that Flow", a book published by Victionary, a Hong Kong based design book publisher.
