SCREENPRINTS
I screen printed these posters and tote bags to help raise money for an organization at Saint Edward's University. They asked for submissions and only then were the top five illustrations to be screenprinted. I was one of the top five candidates and got to see my artwork printed and later be sold to various students and professors. I used two colors to make the posters and tote bags. I wanted to create something centered around the Gorillaz as this is one of my all time favorite bands and they were about to release their latest album Humanz.

I made over 20 letter sized posters and about 10-15 totebags. I prepped the screens and then later printed the totebags and posters. I got to help out as I wanted to be able to say I printed my designs by myself. Screenprinting is a stencil printing technique in which you use transparency film paper to transfer your image onto the silkscreen. Using a squeegee, the rubber blade tool, you can then run ink through the screen to be printed onto your choice of medium.
