Vespa wanted to refresh their brand image in
Ecuador

The first step of this process was to create new product data sheets ( document that contains all the technical characteristics of a product). Instead of making usual ones, with the product’s image, technical info and price, we decided to spike them up! make them different and add something truly unique to the brand.

Vespas are the symbol of Italian elegance and urban style. They set trends and make owners stand out wherever they go. We turned to the city for inspiration and that’s when we realized something big...

Vespa and the streets of Quito, have something in common, they are both artistic and unique. So.. what if we combine these two elements and create a signature vespa style for the Ecuadorian market? A product sheet so cool, that people would actually want to keep it and hang it as a poster.

First Step: We walked around several neighbourhoods of the city of Quito, taking pictures of street patterns, and documenting their exact location with coordinates.

Second Step: From our long list of patterns we finally decided which ones we would use, and with what vespa model we would combine them. Now we were ready to start the Creative Process.

The Creative Process:
Turning street patterns into art

The last step of our creative process was gather all of our organic patterns and digitalise them using Ai and Ps.

Final Result: Product Sheets were a success! Vespa became a symbol of urban style, and the new look & feel was adapted to social media, print work, and even the dealership.
