Filipino Folktales Project - 2015

This was a concept project done for practice by myself and a few others. We conceptualized a book series and a pretend publication house. We then designed the book cover, its promotional materials, branding for the publication house, and any other creative application we could think of relevant to the project.

We created Marahuyo Publishing House. "Marahuyo" means to be enchanted, and was conceptualized to be a publishing house that dealt primarily in publishing local authors who wrote children's books.

Our book series is called "Filipino Folktales," conceptualized to be a long series of local folktales adapted into children's stories and updated with modern illustration and writing.

Our output consisted of promotional posters for the book's launch and a book signing. We designed various giveaway materials like stickers and autograph books where kids could collect the stickers as part of the event's activities.
