During my time as Graphic Designer in Kaohsiung American School, I also helped them create a series of handbook cover designs, as they would like a more illustrative and dynamic cover. I utilised the school's main colours - red, white, and blue (the colours of American flag and Taiwanese flag) as the main colour schemes. For some of the ideas - such as Elementary + Middle School cover designs, I took inspiration from a growing plant with nutrition from the school itself (thus flag coloured dirt). 

As for the MYP & High school course guide, I was greatly inspired by Matisse's colourful figures in his collages, and the way he interpreted the human figure with colour blocks and pair of scissors for his large-scale collage pieces.
