A vintage or retro style travel poster for Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Inspired by travel posters of the 1950s and 60s meant to entice vacationers to visit a specific location.
With this design, I wanted the "Lauderdale" text to resemble the waves of the ocean, with "Fort" surfing on top of it.
Fort Lauderdale is nicknamed "The Venice of America" due to its 165 miles of waterway. This is an image of Fort Lauderdale Beach, along A1A "beachfront avenue".
