Chocolate Bar wrapper design

The product title for my chocolate bar is called 'Wholesome' and the main ingredient is crisp mint. The color swatches I chose for my chocolate bar is green, chocolate and a slight hint of pink to spice it up. The green represents mint leaves and the crisp mints. The chocolate, of course, represents the chocolate. What I had in mind was having images of mint leaves on the background and are placed behind an image of the chocolate. I decided to fill the background with mint leaves to represent the main ingredient which is crisp mint. Same goes with a different ingredient, if the main ingredient is blueberries, I would fill the background with juicy blueberries. It strongly tells the consumer what the main ingredient is. I added a gradient of green and pink to the background. The combination of green and pink kind of has that cooling summer vibe and mints leaves are pretty fresh and cooling as well.

I couldn’t find an image that was taken from a top view, so I settled with an image showing a different angle. The chocolate bar has to be broken into two pieces so it clearly shows the crisp mint inside the chocolate. Is crucial to show what the customers are buying and what they will be eating. I also added a green swirl with sparkles (to spice it up) behind the title to indicate the long crisp mint inside the chocolate.
Originally I designed my title to be cursive but it didn't really portray the crispy crisp mint, so I took Leigh's advice and changed it. I figured that is best if I make the title look more solid and straightforward. And also, since the chocolate bar will be crunchy when being eaten, it doesn’t symbolize the crunchiness if the title was cursive. I also made the title to have a darker brown and to be the one that has the darkest tone on the packaging because I feel that it helps with making the title to slightly pop out more.

I had troubles with improving the quality of the images in Photoshop. For example where the highlights and the shadows should go or how to make it look more 2D/3D. There are also parts where I can improve. It would be best if I can make the title pop more and be more creative with the design of the background. In the future, I should try photographing my own image of a chocolate bar in the right angle so I don’t need to worry about not being able to find the right image.
