Este proyecto proviene de una interpretación de los códices del altiplano central y la función de los dioses como guardianes del conocimiento, y la función del exlibris que es cuidar los libros y el conocimiento que contienen.

Todo está escrito en nahuatl y el texto introductorio dice: “trajeron la tinta, la pintura, la escritura, ellos trajeron nuestro conocimiento”

 

This project was inspired by the ancient books of mesoamerican central area and the way gods were the ones that kept knowledge as the way the exlibris relates to the book they are in, for they keep knowledge too.

The whole book was hand book binded and was written un nahuatl language, the opening text says: “they brought the ink, the paintings, the books, they brought our knowledge”.
