BAMBOOK
Bambook is a traveler’s gadget that is inspired from the form and function of the traditional bamboo fan of Assam. Bambook is customized for travelers who visit Assam with an interest in bamboo and bamboo products. Apart from all other advantages of this electronic book, the ability to keep the user constantly updated about the bamboo (products, artisans, etc) by synchronizing to the central server, makes it a must buy for all travelers to Assam.
It was a 6 month thesis project done aiming at cultural study. We were divided into groups of 2.
I did research on my hometown, Lucknow and my partner’s hometown, Naogaun and found out that there is very less information provided to travelers coming to Assam.
