The aim ofthis workshop was to renew the defected furniture of mass production and togive the individual face to each of it. We wanted pay our respect to the natureand to show our attitude towards the material (in this case it is wood). Alsoour purpose was to show that such a thing like ‘standard user’ doesn’t exist.Every person is individual because of that every piece of furniture should meethis individual requirements. We found that all accidental ‘deviations from the rules’ and a passion to refresh boring furniture reduced usto search for the peculiarity of the form, and a transformation of defect intoeffect and how it will affect individual people needs. During this workshopeach furniture of mass production became a separate piece of art.
The projectis based on the creative use of recycled materials, reducing old things intooriginal pieces of art and design objects which are suitable for art spaces andpublic buildings.
