Columbus Symphony Orchestra Concept
The main goal for this project was to provide the essence of a performance, something that will excite the senses and get the user to want to experience the symphony orchestra first hand. A couple ways we accomplished this was by using a dark warm color scheme which is reminiscent of an illuminated wooden stage, and with bold photography which holds so much emotion you can almost hear the performance on your screen.
Some nice features on this site include: Homepage - A split screen - A sneak peak of the next slide coming up from the bottom with a time indicator. The client also has the opportunity to add an audio clip, which enhances the user experience even further, as well as calls to action for each featured Item. Located to the right there is a slide show indicator - on hover this provides information on the upcoming featured items and allows the user to choose the featured event they would like to view. The dropdown quick view calendar is probably one of my favorite features. This allows the user to quickly view events that are coming up. It also provides a quick link to purchase and or view more information about the event.
