BRIEF: Create a unique logo for a new coffee house, the logo must not include generic coffee house colours, and must represent the health benefits of the brand.

MY APPROACH: I approached this design by briefing myself on all the current coffee house logo, and determined what a 'generic' approach would be. This lead me to creating a heart out of two coffee beans, which not only represents the health benefits, but also portrays the coffee house at its fundamentals, which is of course, coffee. The colour scheme used is powerful and rich, encapsulating the taste of coffee, without blatantly screaming generic coffee house, the colour scheme also offered a luxurious feel.
