ILLEGAL WILDLIFE TRADING

Singapore is renowned for her efficiency as a global trans-shipment hub. Ironically, it is this very reason that Singapore is also the centre for illegal trading. This integrated campaign was developed to heighten awareness of Singapore’s involvement and more importantly, persuade Singaporeans to partake in activities to save the wildlife from illegal poaching and trading. Through a series of print campaign and iButterfly (a proprietary Dentsu location-based augmented reality mobile app), we aim to make Singaporeans Defenders of the cause.
Augmentedreality wildlife were deployed island-wide. Through their mobile devices,Singaporeans were urged to tag these wildlife before the poachers catch them.Their participation were documented together with the growing Defendercommunity. These were prominently displayed on WWF Facebook page. With the statistics gathered, WWF drafted a petition tothe respective policy makers for them to act on
