TUCKED BARK
Evident as the title implicit, the inspiration is from a tree bark.

The bark of the tree being the garment it wears, each layer of the bark in the trunk is not just a covering to the tree but holds in it a story, a story that beholds the memory of its legacy. So each new layer stands out like a strong shield with the support of this legacy to protect the tree.Together this combination of heritage and strength make the tree stronger and give its identity.
Similarly, this is an attempt to recreate the bond to create textiles. Just like the heritage ring of the trunk, the base warp of the fabric lays the foundation of the shield of protection in the form of extra warp that creates the textures similar to the bark of the tree.
