Old buildings and structures, which include local station in the Basque Country, needed to adapt its functionality to the current needs. Everything stems from the increased demand of rail transportation, urban development and population. The project was motivated by the n eed for a new and modern functional stations.
The project includes the rehabilitation of existing stations and the design of new structures after analyzing the best solutions for each individual station. Stations that are modernized with this project are located in: Usurbil, Bermeo, Anoeta, Lezama, Lekunbiz, Loyola, Azitain, Tolekegain, Eibar and Trana.
