Black Lacquered Head Board "Before"

Stencil made from plastic sheeting over the bedspread pattern. The pattern was narrowed to fit the panels.

Sanded and painted in a brown stone textured finish. Stencil applied and built up with a putty paint to make the relief.

After the putty was set, I painted the relief in the same brown stone textured paint.

Copper metallic paint was then applied to the relief for a dramatic aesthetic.
