The National Center of Elder Abuse (NCEA) partnered with the FrameWorks Institute to create a PSA animation on elder abuse. I was tasked to create the character designs and scenes for the project. The goal was to make the characters have a friendly and welcoming design so I drew out the characters using organic shapes and used low saturated colors. This is a draft where I used soft monochromatic colors for background elements and a plain white background to make the characters visually standout from the scenes. We ultimately went with another direction, but it was a great opportunity learn more about character design and animation.
