The doughnut-shaped rental apartment building at 325 Kent Avenue, will begin welcoming tenants this summer to both its affordable and market-rate apartments. Owned and managed by Two Trees Management, this 16 story, 522-unit full-service doorman building has a wide array of layouts ranging from studios to two-bedroom residences in Williamsburg and the newest icon in the Brooklyn skyline.

The very distinct copper-clad exterior, twisted towers with a connecting sky-bridge, on the East River waterfront called the American Copper Towers is a dual-tower residential skyscraper in the Murray Hill neighborhood of Manhattan. The jaunty two rental apartment towers are located at 626 1st Avenue, east of First Avenue between 35th and 36th streets. The resort-style amenities include a 75-foot lap pool, a lounge and bar, a hammam, and a children’s playroom.

The Greenpoint stands a massive 400 feet tall at 21 India Street on the Brooklyn waterfront. The Greenpoint’s 463 apartments are split between 95 condos and 368 apartment rentals that range in size from studios to three-bedrooms. Upon opening, The Greenpoint will offer 12,000 square feet of open space, and 30,000 square feet of amenities.

38 Sixth Avenue, between Dean Street and Pacific Street, is a post-war rental building in Brooklyn's Prospect Heights neighborhood renovated this year. The 303-apartment affordable and rent-stabilized building offering a pet-grooming station, a yoga studio, and a game room on each floor.

Via 57 West is the tetrahedron shaped building that takes on different shapes from different angles at 625 West 57th Street in Midtown West Manhattan. Although Via 57 West wasn’t mentioned in the article’s list, it is alive and open for business this year, focusing on green living and is LEED Gold Certified.
