The publication analyze the work of the italian group of radical architects Superstudio focusing on the photomontages realized between 1968 and 1973.
The book start with an overview on the group philosophy and ideas, and tells the story of the two founders of the group Adolfo Natalini and Cristiano Toraldo di Francia, the first a painter and the second a photographer. From the union of this two interesting figures the books elaborate on the theme of photomontage as a technique that combine painting and photography with a short history and analysis of different technics.
In the last part it tells the story and the evolution of the concept trough six different photomontages.
