This project was my first ever attempt at fashionphotography. The assignment was to create 2 newspaper ads and one magazinespread. Immediately I knew I wanted to make the models background contrast herbeauty. Over the course of 2 weekends I took hundreds of photos and many greatones did not make the cut for cropping or composition reasons.

I used Photoshop to create HDR photos whichfurthered the contrast between her and her rugged surroundings.

Photos below are the original shots along with some of the runners up that stilldeserve some recognition.

All graffiti was found on location and ended up working great with thecomposition.

These next 3 are my favorites of the bunch. We drove tonearby Lake Ontelaunee and shimmied out onto a beautiful cliff carved on theone side of the lake. Her dress against the jagged stone illustrates perfectlywhat I was going for, especially in the final photo.
