PROBLEM
A logo was needed for this year’s Bay Area Christian Church Expo. The BACC’s annual conference is an international conference in service to both the local and greater community, aimed at inspiring change to improve people’s lives.
The mark had to be drastically scaleable, and applicable in several single / multi color uses. It was designed to be used for marketing and advertising purposes for all print and social media production.
SOLUTION
The final mark was ultimately used for a wide range of conference material; everything from apparel, both standard and large format print collateral, to digital application for web and mobile, as well as for use on social media outlets.
The solution was a culmination of many iterations and abstractions of the concept of “others.” How much of our life is focused on helping others? How can we inspire the change needed to impact the community around us? The modified type leads in, conveying a sense of motion, with a focus on the aspect of “good.” The arrow is dynamic compositionally, and guides our eye onward. The overall shape is both balanced and agile, mean to communicate a motion for change, and to inspire new behavior.
The “Force for Good” arrow itself is tied to the concepts of morality and kindness. The shape is stable, directional, and suggestive in the way of integrity and altruism. This was an alternate standalone mark for any conference material, in that it is simple, communicative, and easily identifiable.

With this we hope to communicate our ambition to live selflessly, and inspire the youth to divert energy to helping others, ultimately becoming the change we want to see for our neighbors and the greater community - a force for good.
