This project was my first comprehensive commission with the UBU and encompassed the conceptualisation, illustration, design and layout of multiple event posters and promotional pieces, including a 3x1 metre week timeline banner.
The overriding aesthetic involved selecting press shots of the artists and acts and illustrating them in the straight-edged minimal style visible throughout the collection, with the aim to create multiple independent pieces of artwork that appear intrinsically linked upon closer inspection, culminating in the main banner.
The preliminary illustration commenced in August and layouts were ready for print by early September.
