This poster was commissioned for a student's opera performance at Juilliard. The libretto reflects on the history of African Americans as it leads up to the Black Lives Matter movement. The piece is divided into 5 sections, with each one embodying a distinct musical/historic era in history. I designed the poster to have those five elements represented, as a road of music winds through it all.
