Pipes is a decorative font that includes all caps characters and numbers. It is inspired in the industrial revolution from the 1930s. Specifically in the transition from manual work to machinery and the struggle of people  to survive in the modern.

The typeface itself has metal looking elements that represent the the factories and machines and the leaves and other natural elements express mankind and their hard-working nature being taken away from them when they were replaced by machines and they were not needed anymore. Pipes is meant to represent the suffering but also shows the beauty and advantages that the industrialization brought to the era we live in today.

The typeface is versatyle and it can be combined with other simple serif and sans serif fonts.
