Through the foundation he created in 1997, NBA legend Dikembe Mutombo built the first state-of-the-art hospital in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The mission of the foundation is to improve the health, education, and quality of life for the people of his native land. To this end, the foundation retained us to create their first-ever series of development materials to bring the foundation to life for potential donors.

We created a three-tiered development/marketing suite of materials. A “mother book” describes the mission, history, accomplishments of the hospital, and the vision for the future. It was written to last at least two years as a marketing tool. The foundation’s first-ever annual report was enclosed. A smaller brochure for a quick developmental overview, with a response vehicle for donations, completed the suite. Selected naming opportunities accompany the pieces.
