Banaras Cultural Foundation is a non- profit organisation based out of varanasi city. Its objective are Artistic, Cultural Dialogue and Heritage Preservation in the city Banaras/Varanasi/Kashi. The organisation have been actively initiating various projects to improve the quality of life in city.
Since one of its major focus is on heritage preservation, I decided to work around the city plan for the ideation of identity. During my research, I realized one of the major essence and identity of the city lies in its lanes and the river. The identity is an attempt to bring out that essence of the city through its lane and river in visual form. The visual form is derived from the aerial view of the city.
