The client was keen to change their existing living pattern, by removing and redesigning the separated kitchen and dining/play area and providing for a contemporary, open plan kitchen/dining/sitting/play space towards the garden.

The garden extension allowed the client to expand their kitchen and dining area, maximising space as well as natural light, filtered into the interior via large folding doors to the rear, a feature skylight to the angled ceiling, as well as a glass brick slotted 'window' within a feature exposed brick wall.
