The front cover consists of two layers, the textual elements such as the masthead, issue number and barcode were printed on translucent paper. The imagery is inspired by the avant-garde movement which is a theme that is mentioned throughout both spreads. 

The brief behind the creation of this magazine consisted  of designing a masthead, front cover and two spreads. Each spread was to adhere to the content of each article – ‘White Space’ written by Ellen Lupton and ‘Typeface and Typography’ written by Kenya Hara.
