Explore
Brief: To use visual methods to ensure walkers have a minimal impact on the environment from the moment they leave their house, to the moment they get back, primarily when choosing their route.

Response: This project encourages walkers to stick to footpaths in the Peak District. The large scale ‘E’, which stands for ‘Explore’, creates a place for breaks, reducing the impact of walkers going off the path. It blends into the environment by using moss, a native species of the Peak District.

I worked with Scott Carroll to create a lanyard for the project. This was designed as a way of interacting with walkers at every part of their journey, from transport to guided walks
