As I was searching for something out of the box to create typeface, I chose something that I haven’t actually noticed as a part of a thing that could basically work. Which is “torn leather seats”. By keen observation, these damaged parts made some quite interesting visuals, building into the form. It is a thing that people don’t usually notice or look at but consider as a damaged patch. You get to observe and find things in unexpected areas as they were not intended to be made there. But making something out of it could be challenging for the way you see things.
