This project involved the creation of an illustration of an animal with polygons. In this project I downloaded a headshot of a hawk and then used the pen tool in Illustrator to create the polygons that resembled his head. Then, I filled the shapes with different shades of the same color to create shadows and highlights on the bird. I learned how shading could create depth and shading in 2d images to make them more lifelike.
