Portrait of Brownie Wise

This is the portrait of Brownie Wise.  A saleswoman who once had a great idea and so was able to reach the vice presidency of Tupperware. That in the 1950s, a time when the business world was totally male.
This woman with extraordinary business skills convinced Mr. Earl Tupper, the founder and creator of the brand, to sell their "magic" bowls only at parties and directly at the customers' homes. It was the "Tupperware party". Meetings where demonstrators teach how to properly use these amazing plastic novelties.
The idea of Mrs. Wise has proved so brilliant that in addition to boost sales also helped create the identity of a company.
Every year Tupperware invites an artist to create an illustration to honor this great pioneer.
I was very happy to be called to this edition of 2017
