EXERCISE LIGHTNING STRIKE
During my time in the military service, there were opportunities to design logos/banners and other projects for my battalion. Exercise Lightning Strike was a bilateral exercise between American and Singapore soldiers. My Battalion wanted people to design a Banner, ID Cards and T-Shirts but gave no creative brief.
Freedom of design is rare to come by in the military so I took the opportunity to attempt something different.
The Lion represents my battalion 2SIR, The Lions.
The bald eagle is the United States of America's national animal.
My designs were noticed by my superiors and we had to follow their structure. These were the designs submitted after a number of requested changes.
I had used an actual photo of my batalion in the final design, but due to confidentiality agreements, am not allowed to post the final banner including the soldiers here
